Workshop 2 :Community Asset and Resilience Mapping

Thursday August 5th 7-9:00pm

at the Palgrave Community Kitchen

What does resilience look like In Palgrave? What places, people, organisations and business help us through challenging times? Could we be more resilient?

Our Resiilience Workshops continue with a fun activity where we will use a map of Palgrave to highlight areas of high and low resilience .

Resilience could be represented by  physical assets: common spaces to gather; features contributing to a sense of place and belonging; local businesses or residents supporting essential services (e.g. food provisioning, physical and mental health). They could also be social networks and community groups centred on particular locations around the village.

The result will be a Resilience Map that will be available at a Drop-in at the Birch MArket (date TBC) to allow all Palgrave Residents to comment or add to .

The Map will be a key part of the Palgrave Resilience Vision and Action Plan.

Resilient Vision, Resilient Action Workshops 1 & 2

Wednesday 24th March & 26th May 2021

What does resilience mean to us now, and how have we been resilient to challenges in the past? What might a future vision of a Resilient Palgrave look like, and how do we get there?

In these workshops we will develop our understanding of resilience by exploring our shared stories. We will create our own local vision and decide broad goals for action.
